Learn about how we created a simple, professional and functional website for one of the biggest law firms in Queensland, Hynes Lawyers.

Hynes Lawyers is a specialist corporate and community title law firm established by Robert Hynes in 1997.  The firm employs approximately 60 staff including six partners with offices in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast.  Hynes is well-known for thier focused practice areas, expertise, excellent staff and commitment to continual development and they aim to be the pre-eminent Queensland specialist firm in the areas in which they practice.

The Brief

Hynes Lawyers recently changed their branding to give themselves a fresh new look and they needed a simple, professional website to match.  They wanted their site to be a place where potential clients could learn more about them and the services they offer and also for them to showcase their expertise in various areas of law.  They also wanted the freedom to be able to update the site themselves with new content and articles whenever they wanted.

The firm has a large number of staff spread over several offices, so they needed a easy way for their team to access important internal policies and documents.  This staff resource needed to be linked to the website so it could be regularly updated, but password protected so only employees can access it.

The Solution

Bloomtools created the perfect website for Hynes Lawyers.  The layout is clean and simple which matches their branding and the purpose of their site.  The articles on the home page grab the attention of visitors and promote the areas that Hynes specialise in.  The site is much more than an online brochure - it can capture the details of new leads through the mailing list sign-up and it is backed by the Bloomtools Content Management System which allows them to keep the site up-to-date quickly and easily.

We also built a specially designed knowlege base into the website for Hynes staff to to use.  It can be accessed from the site, but it is secure from clients because of the password protection.  The website manager can easily upload documents and important staff information like leave policies and style guides into the knowledge base with the click of a button so staff can find everything they need, saving everyone time and cutting administration costs.

The Response

“As part of our recent rebranding we briefed Bloomtools to create a completely new website. The result is exactly what we were after – a clean, simple, yet professional site which is easy to navigate and most importantly update. The knowledge base which was created off the back-end of the website has now enabled our internal induction program to be completed online, saving us time and money.”
