Read about how Bloomtools created a website for Watercooler Talent, the home of some of Australia's favourite celebrities.

Watercooler Talent manages some of Australia's biggest stars, including Grant Denyer, Paul Mercurio, Tim Campbell and Jessica Rowe.  The company is owned by celebrity manager David Wilson and television personality Ian 'Dicko' Dickson and specialises in media management and television development.

The Brief

With their portfolio of clients growing rapidly, Watercooler needed a website that could keep up with the growth of their business.  They had to be able to edit the site themselves because of the constantly changing profiles of their stars, rather than paying a developer to do it for them.  The site needed to showcase  their clients in a professional and attractive way and reflect Watercooler's branding.  Also, the site would be a portal for media and journalists so it had to be able to provide up to the minute news articles and downloadable hi-res images.

The Solution

The Bloomtools graphic designers worked closely with the Watercooler team to achieve their branding and the result is a streamlined, unique site that looks great and is still easy to use.  The home page flash introduction immediately shows off Watercooler's biggest asset - it's client base - and each celebrity has their own profile page with biography and downloadable images.

The site also meets Watercooler's functionality needs - custom forms allow them to capture enquiries from the site while minimising spam, database marketing enables them to build a database of contacts and send talent bulletins to subscribers, article library allows them to instantly publish news articles on the site and the whole system is simple for them to manage in-house with minimal technical skills.

The Response

"Bloomtools have built a very professional, functional website for Watercooler Talent. It matches our branding and is a really unique design, plus it's so easy for us to manage ourselves which saves us so much time and enables us to keep our celebrity profiles up to date. Bloomtools have been a great internet partner and we would happily recommend them to other businesses."

David Wilson, Watercooler Talent
