New look client interface: cleaner, easier, modern

Our original interface (what you see when you log in to the backend of your website, or database marketing account with Bloomtools) of 8 years, is about to be taken over by a brand spanking new version.

The interface has seen a few modifications over the years in order to keep up with the changing media and our ever-growing range of products and tools - from fixed-width screens through to altered menu structure to match our new product releases, and a few adjustments in layout. Six years ago, we launched a version to make it easier for our clients to find what they were looking for.

These days most of our clients are accessing The Webconsole a lot more frequently as their online presence plays an ever-increasing role in their business. And with the introduction of the CRM (NB: it is still free for our existing clients to trial now - just ask your Consultant to set it up for you) the frequency of use will increase, while it becomes a part of our clients' daily lives.

Our latest version has ambient signifiers (ie. the main menu structure changes colour depending on which product you are in) to allow you to more easily recognise where you are within The Webconsole, it now requires less clicks to carry out a variety of actions, and has a lot more space to work more efficiently on smaller interfaces, such as iPads. Overall, it is cleaner, easier to use and looks more modern.

To make it more seamless for our clients to adopt, we are rolling it out slowly to everyone over the next few months.

You will have the opportunity to trial it, so give it a try and let us know what you think. You will have the option to switch back to the older version, but that will only last for one month after the release date. To further assist you with the changeover, we will be producing a webinar to help you better understand how it works.
